Missing 83-Year-Old Marshfield Man with Alzheimer’s Found by Marshfield Police Department Using SafetyNet Tracking System

On Tuesday evening, August 13th, an 83-year-old resident of Marshfield, who has Alzheimer’s disease and is enrolled in the SafetyNet Tracking program, wandered away from his home and went missing. After the Marshfield Police Department were informed that he was missing, they deployed their SafetyNet tracking equipment and located the missing person just seven minutes later at the Two Mile Cemetery approximately one mile away from his home.
The Marshfield Police Department have had several successful rescues as a result of their use of the SafetyNet tracking equipment.
