Fort Lauderdale Police Department Locates Missing Person For the 3rd Time

Fort Lauderdale Police Department locate a missing person with a cognitive condition using the SafetyNet Tracking™ service. In this case, a 55-year-old man with dementia was reported missing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on June 6 at 8:47 A.M. Officers from the Fort Lauderdale Police Department arrived on location and began searching for the individual. After following the signal emitting from the missing individual’s SafetyNet bracelet, the individual was located approximately a half a mile away from the point he was last seen, in good condition. It was the third time in two months SafetyNet equipment had been used to rescue the individual; he was also rescued on May 5 and May 29.
